ABS Sensors - Anti Lock Brake Sensor
Standard brand ABS Sensors Exceed OEM Standards. There are many things that can cause your ABS light to come on. Some are serious, so you should never just ignore the light. The ABS Sensor is a four-wheel system that prevents wheel lock-up by automatically modulating the brake pressure during an emergency stop. By preventing the wheels from locking, it enables the driver to maintain steering control and to stop in the shortest possible. Replacing the ABS Sensor ensures your ABS System is working

Cold Start Valves
The purpose of the cold start valve is to inject fuel into the intake air stream when the engine is cold (and the starter operating) in order to richen the fuel/air mixture for easier starting.
It can be tested in the same manner as the other injectors. Leakage is undesirable as it will cause the engine to run rich. sorry no pics
millisecond The cold start valve is sometimes called the fifth injector. It is mounted to the intake air distribution box and is in line with the fuel rail. It has an electrical connection and a fuel inlet line and a fuel outlet line. S
The cold start valve is essentially constructed the same as the regular fuel injectors. The main difference is that the cold start valve injection time is measured in seconds rather than in milliseconds like the regular injectors.

Ignition Module
The ignition module itself may be located inside the distributor (GM and some imports), on the distributor housing (some Ford applications) or in the engine compartment. Some modules also control timing advance and retard. If a module goes bad, it usually goes completely dead. The engine won't run because there's no trigger voltage to the ignition coil.

Diverter Valves
What is a diverter valve? A diverter valve (DV) is a pathway for boost when it is not being used by your engine. Whenever the throttle body is closed, like during shifts or deceleration, the boost needs an escape route. If the boost cannot escape during these times, it can back up and cause shocks to the turbo. These shocks will stall the turbo, slowing boost production upon re-acceleration (turbo lag). Even worse, these shocks can cause damage to the turbo. The diverter valve's job is to open when the throttle body is closing or closed, and reroute the boost to the low pressure intake side of the turbo, where it can do no harm.

Door Locks
Standard replacement conventional locks, some cars today have four or five different ways to unlock the doors. How do cars keep track of all those different methods, and what exactly happens when the doors unlock?
The mechanism that unlocks your car doors is actually quite interesting. It has to be very reliable because it is going to unlock your doors tens of thousands of times over the life of your car.

Ignition Distributors Remanufactured A1 Cardone Distributors are designed to render reliable and quality performance. These distributors function to route high voltage from the ignition coil to the spark plugs in the correct firing order. They include a rotating arm and a cap to facilitate easy installation. These units are computer tested and are maintenance free.

Ignition Coils Ignition Coil replacement. Sometimes an ignition coil is bad, clearly bad, as in it makes no spark at all. But if a coil is on the way out, but not dead yet, it can make a weak spark that can cause the car to run rough or wrong. By testing an ignition coil with a multimeter while it's disconnected, you'll be using data and numbers to determine the health of the coil rather than your eyeballs and dead reckoning.

Neutral Safty Switches (NS)
the neutral safety switch is a switch that is designed to prevent the engine from starting unless the transmission shifter is in either park or neutral(in the case of an automatic transmission), or the clutch is depressed(in the case of a manual transmission).

Speed Sensors An antilock brake wheel speed sensor measures the speed of each wheel by counting the number of revolutions each wheel makes while braking to be sure the wheel isn't locking up. If a wheel locks up, the antilock brake control module can apply or release brake fluid pressure to each wheel, releasing the wheel from its locked state. To replace the ABS wheel speed sensor, the wheel is removed. The sensor is then found near the wheel bearing hub. The sensor is electrically disconnected, removed, and replaced with the new component. In some vehicles the sensor is incorporated with the hub assembly and the entire hub assembly must be replaced.

knock Sensors (KS)
The knock sensor responds to spark knock caused by Pre-detonation of the Air/Fuel mixture. As the flame front moves out from the spark plug ignition point, pressure waves in the chamber crash into the piston or cylinder walls resulting in a sound known as a knock or ping. This is caused by using a fuel with a low octane rating, overheating, or over advanced timing. Sometimes it can be caused by hot carbon deposits on the piston or cylinder head that raise compression. A knock sensor is comprised of Piezoelectric materials; Crystals that when impacted, generate a voltage (same idea as a BBQ ignitor). This voltage is monitored by the computer, and when an irregularity is detected, the computer corrects timing in VVT (variable valve timing) engines, or triggers a DTC Diagnostic Trouble Code) in older vehicles.

Starter Solenoid
The starter solenoid receives a large electric current from the car battery and a small electric current from the ignition switch. When the ignition switch is turned on, a small electric current is sent to the starter solenoid. This causes the starter solenoid to close a pair of heavy contacts, thus relaying a large electric current to the starter motor, which in turn sets the engine in motion.

Temperarure Switches (Sensors) (TS)
An essential part of a vehicle?s engine upgrade, a fuel pressure regulator is going to make sure that your multiport EFI gets the precise fuel pressure that it needs. Optimum performance is going to be compromised if your injection system is running a too low or too high a fuel pressure. An aftermarket adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator will allow you to fine-tune your system to squeeze every last horsepower out of it. |

Voltage Regulators
A voltage regulator is an electrical regulator designed to automatically maintain a constant voltage level. A voltage regulator may be a simple "feed-forward" design or may include negative feedback control loops. It may use an electromechanical mechanism, or electronic components. Depending on the design, it may be used to regulate one or more AC or DC voltages.
